UVC Replacement Bulbs

Ultraviolet light bulbs deliver short-wave UV rays that alter the DNA of bacteria and microorganisms (e.g. green water algae), eliminating them and preventing them from spreading.

Features

• should be replaced at the beginning of each pond season to ensure optimal UV irradiation
• a UVC lamp loses up to 70% of its power within a year, even though the lamp is not defective (it is still lit)
• replace after one year so the water doesn’t turn green
